ART 2701 - Printmaking for Non-Art Majors 3 Credit(s)
An introduction to the fundamental concepts of printmaking in a studio environment. Students will become familiar with the materials and techniques used in printmaking. This course will not fulfill the requirements for a major in art.

CLO 2) Students will explore basic printmaking methods and techniques including relief (linocut), intaglio (drypoint, etching), and planographic (monotype) processes.
CLO 3) Students will assemble a printmaking portfolio to showcase editions produced during the class.
CLO 4) Students will experience a variety of printmaking tools and techniques with an emphasis on proper use and efficient management.
CLO 5) Students will demonstrate creative and expressive visual problem-solving skills.
CLO 6) Students will participate in and contribute to all class discussions and critiques.
