ART 2610 - Sculpture II 3 Credit(s)
Emphasis on artisanship, exploration, and research to gain more sophisticated and self-motivated personal direction. Introduces skills in welding and metal fabrication as well as individual media choices. May include some metal casting.
Prereqs: ART 2600 with a grade of C or better Course Type: Studio/Performance Delivery Method: In-Person Course Learning Outcomes: CLO 1) Students will work within time structures.
CLO 2) Students will practice self-motivated studio habits.
CLO 3) Students will use the materials and techniques to achieve a stronger and more succinct personal expression.
CLO 4) Students will recognize the visual vocabulary of art, specifically of 3-dimensional art.
CLO 5) Students will discuss critical, historical, and analytical approaches to 3-dimensional art.
