Art History lecture course focusing on significant artistic developments and forms of art and architecture through exploration of the development of human achievements in the modern and contemporary era.
Prereqs: ART 1001 or ART 1500 or ART 1505 with a grade of C or better Course Type: Lecture Delivery Method: In-Person Course Learning Outcomes: CLO 1) Students will define and understand the multitude of styles and concepts within the realm of Modern, Post-Modern, and Contemporary Art and Architecture.
CLO 2) Students will determine the societal changes and influences that have affected artists and their art.
CLO 3) Students will describe, discuss, debate and interpret the intent and results of the artwork.
CLO 4) Students will develop a vocabulary that will enable them to better express their ideas and responses to the subject matter.
